I am delighted to invite you to sponsor AIMA’s Global Policy & Regulatory Forum 2018 due to be held in Dublin. This is our leading annual regulatory event, which provides a unique opportunity for the hedge fund industry to engage with senior policymakers and regulators. It is a truly global event, addressing policy and regulatory themes related to the major financial markets around the world.
Our 2017 Forum was held in Paris and attracted over 350 attendees. Over 23 different regulatory authorities participated, including senior representatives from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, U.K. Financial Conduct Authority, European Securities and Markets Authority, Central Bank of Ireland, European Commission, French Autorité des Marchés Financiers, Cayman Islands Monetary Authority, German Ministry of Finance and the Japanese Financial Services Agency. Our 2016 Forum was held in London and attracted over 400 attendees.
The theme of the 2018 Forum is ‘Managing a Fragmented World’. During the course of the day, the keynote speeches and panel discussions will explore how managers and regulators are responding to a rapidly shifting regulatory and political environment, in which established ways of doing cross-border business are under threat. Key areas of discussion will include cross-border business and delegation; senior management accountability; the rise of RegTech; and hedge fund performance.
The following pages set out details of the various sponsorship packages available along with further information on the event format and panel themes. I do hope you are able to participate in our premier regulatory event, and I look forward to welcoming you to Dublin in March.
With my best wishes, Jack Inglis
