Presentation Guidelines

This is master Cisco Data Center “business decision maker” presentation deck

How to Present: This deck consists of 4 primary sections:

Section #1: Introduction of “Cisco DC Goes Anywhere your data goes” – this section can stand independently if desired and has a few slides introducing Cisco products.
Following there are 3 individual sections on 1) Automation, 2) Multicloud and 3) Security. These BDM level sections each start with framing why these pillars are important, and then give a brief overview of the product and solution highlights for each.

# of slides: This deck intentionally includes many extra slides so a presenter can choose which slides best pertain to the customer or opportunity that is being addressed. The DC Product Marketing team will keep updating this master deck as new slides are created or new talk tracks are formed. Be sure to check back regularly for the latest. You will need to reference other product, solution or competitive presentations for more specific content.

This deck is intended to introduce our DC strategy and Cisco Point of View, illustrating how we align our products and solutions with current industry trends.

Target persona for this deck are:

Primary target – Network Engineer, Network Architect, IT Leader/ManagerSecondary target – App Developer, Cloud Architect

Keep in mind you may run into customers who build their own networks using CLI and semi-manual provisioning, who may not even have as much interest in this higher level story. Don’t force it. Instead, focus on selling the right tool for the job, and perhaps introduce this story at a later date when your customer is considering expansion or more trusting in Cisco.

As always, adjust content based on the goal of your customer conversation.

Start off by explaining “why we are here”

Set the audience expectations by stating a high level business goal such as

“I am here to tell you how you will transform your business”

“There is a better way of managing your infrastructure operations in rapidly changing world of IT”
