It's time set your content free...
So let's start with the basics: Who is going to be receiving your content? We have different privacy settings depending on the exposure of the content; if it's an internal newsletter - perfect select Internal, a far-reaching thought leadership or product lead insight - just select public. We even have an option to set readers up with a password for those sensitive proposals or restricted access Stories.
To select the setting, head to the Story settings in the edit drop down on the Stories page > Settings > Access Control
Largely unnoticed by our users, the name of your Turtl Story is consistent both within the platform and visible to readers of the content. Here we can utilise the rename tool in the edit drop down on the Story page to ensure the Story name introduces the content correctly as well as consideration of the readers first impressions of the Story.

Similar to the rename of your Story functionality, a custom URL can be the difference between potential readers finding your Story via an online search, and not finding it at all. Add the name of your Story, a keyword or two, or something memorable relating to the content to really hit the spot with your Story search engine indexing.

The first of three publishing choices you will be served with is to embed your Story straight onto a website. It's a simple process, just copy the embed code straight from the box underneath the front page animation and you'll have a great looking Story which animates on hover on your website.
There are a few options to customise here, including the size of the embed Story, whether you'd prefer an animation on hover, or a constant flicker (as per the email option below).
You can also change the colour of the 'click to read' (delete the colour code to remove the CTA altogether) and choose how to open the Story, either in a lightbox or to push the reader through to it's own URL.
Of course no marketing campaign is complete without directly delivering the content straight to the desired recipient - our simple email tool makes everything super simple to get the highest level of engagement with the least amount of fuss.
Just head to the email tab of the publishing workflow page to download an animated GIF file (or email a copy to yourself) and upload the GIF straight into your email body.
If you've downloaded the GIF straight to your desktop, don't forget to hyperlink using the long link found on the 'links and social' tab to drop people straight over to your content.
Although a simple concept, the slight animation and movement of the GIF has been found to have a significant uplift in encouraging recipients to click on the Story and dive into the content - a simple but effective method!
