Mycotoxins are the secondary metabolites of certain molds which occur on agricultural products. Various Mycotoxins have been studied for their toxic effects on both humans and animals. Mycotoxins enter into feed and food chain through agricultural commodities. Even the minimalist quantity of Mycotoxins is harmful in terms of productivity, immunosuppression etc.

Among all the factors that favor Mycotoxin growth such as biological factors, harvesting, storage and processing conditions, climate! is the most important factor.
